In the final ice hockey regular league match of the Asia League held on February 26, the Nippon Paper Cranes bested the Oji Eagles 2-1, ending the regular season fourth in the standings with 58 points and securing a place in the playoffs.
In the playoff finals that kick off from March 3, the Cranes will again face off against the Oji Eagles, which took the top spot in the regular league.
Coming off their February win in the All-Japan Ice Hockey Championships, the Cranes are looking to unite in their efforts to pull off the double with an Asia League victory as well, and appreciate everyone's continued support.
