NIPPON PAPER GROUP, Inc.'s Dividend Distribution Policy

Our basic dividend distribution policy is to continue to distribute a constant dividend by ensuring the sound operation of the Group as a whole and the future improvement in equity value for our shareholders. This will be accomplished by constantly reviewing overall business results and maintaining sufficient reserves.

Dividend Payout Period

Year-end dividend:
In accordance with the resolution passed at the general meeting of shareholders, we will distribute the year-end dividend amount to shareholders or pledgees recorded on the shareholders list as of March 31.
Interim dividend:
In accordance with the resolution of the Board of Director's meeting, we will distribute the interim dividend amount to shareholders or pledgees recorded on the shareholders list as of September 30.
