Crecia-Kasuga Co., Ltd. (President: Hirofumi Narita; headquartered in Fuji-shi, Shizuoka; hereinafter "Crecia-Kasuga"), a joint venture for household paper products established by Nippon Paper Crecia Co., Ltd. (President: Yasunori Nanri; headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Nippon Paper Crecia"), a Nippon Paper Group company, and Kasuga Paper Industry Co., Ltd. (President: Noboru Otsuka; headquartered in Fuji-shi, Shizuoka; hereinafter "Kasuga Paper Industry") completed the construction of a new production facility for household paper products on the premises of Fuji Mill of Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Fumio Manoshiro; headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, "Nippon Paper Industries") as scheduled, and today held its completion ceremony with affiliated parties.

The newly constructed production facilities for household paper products have already started operation, the annual production capacity of which facility is approximately 36,000 tons. By effectively utilizing the premises and facilities at Fuji Mill of Nippon Paper Industries, which is conveniently located near the Tokyo metropolitan area, the facility will produce roll toilet tissue and other products. Those products are sold by Nippon Paper Crecia and Kasuga Paper Industry, respectively.

Demand for roll toilet tissue and other household paper products is expected to remain firm in the future. By utilizing the new Crecia-Kasuga facility that has just started operation, Nippon Paper Crecia will quickly respond to diverse market needs and strive to achieve growth in the market for the household paper product business in corporation with Kasuga Paper Industry.
