Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd. (President: Toru Nozawa) will open the school on Sunday, July 31, 2022,"the School of Friendship for Forests and Paper Online", learning about the connection between paper and forests that are familiar to our daily lives.
"the School of Friendship for Forests and Paper”is a natural environment class conducted by NIPPON PAPER GROUP in the field of forests owned by the NIPPON PAPER GROUP. NIPPON PAPER GROUP employees have become staff and lecturers, and as a program to learn about the connections between"Mori" and"Paper”through experience in the rich nature, it has been held continuously for more than 10 years at the Marunuma Highlands in Gunma Prefecture and the Yatsushiromillin Kumamoto Prefecture.
In FY2020 and FY2021, we postponed the implementation to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, but this year we will start a new"the School of Friendship for Forests and Paper Online"that you can participate from anywhere (free participation: you will be responsible for the communication costs for applying and participating).
The target is lower elementary school students and their parents. In between classes, we are also planning a hands-on corner where you can learn while playing using the teaching materials sent in advance (application deadline June 30 23:59).
