Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd. (head office : Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,President and Representative Director: Toru Nozawa, hereinafter referred to the Company”) has entered into a sales agreement with Otake City and the Group for the construction of a recycling-oriented system for Waste Paper. We will use the Waste Paper collected by this system as a papermaking raw material from April 2022.

In this system, the Otake City Recycling Center collects cardboard, magazines, newspapers, and miscellaneousWaste Paperdischarged from households, and after processing it to be suitable for recycling by NP Trading Co., Ltd.., which is handed over by the Group, the mill cardboard base paper is collected at our Otake Factory and Yatsushiromill.container boardsand newsprint paper. By collaborating and cooperating with the government, which has a network with local residents, and our company, which has the technology and bases that enable a wide variety of paper recycling, we aim to build a comprehensive Waste Paper recycling along with long-term stable resource procurement.
