(head office : Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,President and Representative Director: Yasuhiko Nishiguchi, hereinafter referred to as"the Company”) of NIPPON PAPER GROUP, with the aim of improving production efficiency and strengthening competitiveness in response to structural changes in domestic demand, has opened the Harada mill( Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture) has decided to permanent machine shutdown No. 3paper machineat the end of March 2023 and paperpaper machineNo. 5 at the end of March 2024.paper machine
Currently, the Harada millis producing with five machines, with the No. 3paper machinemainly producing Indian paper and ultra-light coated paper, and the No. 5paper machinemainly producing copy paper, but each product will be consolidated into otherpaper machine.
