On the other hand, Shizuoka Prefecture and the Group signed a contract in May 2022 to utilize the prefecture'sCompany-owned Forestsas a field for domesticforestry industryrestoration support and promote the on-site implementation of advanced technologies. "VIRTUAL SHIZUOKA"*3 We were able to connect public survey data to credit creation by utilizing open data that had already been surveyed and cooperating with Asahi Koyo Co., Ltd., which actually conducts aerial surveys, for analysis work. This is the first result of this agreement, and it is also the first time in Japan that a credit using an aviation laser has been certified. All forests owned by the company have obtained Japan's unique forest certification system "SGEC Forest Certification"*4, but Kitayama Company-owned Forestsin Shizuoka Prefecture, which is the same as the Kazaki Company-owned Forests, is the first forest to be certified under this system, and next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the system's inception.
