Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. has confirmed that the performance of Tohoku Seiren Co., Ltd.'s recycled fiber processing technology"MVA®”has been improved by utilizing Cellulose nanofiber"cellenpia ®”.
"MVA®”used against recycled fibers such as Cellulose nanofiberIt is a technology that improves the properties of fibers. Recycled fibers are fibers spun by melting natural fibers such as wood and cotton through chemical reactions, such as cupra, rayon, and lyocell, and have a luster and smooth texture similar to natural silk, and are used in various clothing and other materials. The fashion industry has gained traction in recent years due to the rapidly increasing demand for sustainable materials. However, there are issues with recycled fibers"Difficult to wash", "Easy to shrink", "There is a concern about color fading"and so on, and Tohoku Seikyo has been working on"cellenpia ® since 2019" to improve it.
