Request for notification of change of address

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd.

Due to relocation, etc., we may not be able to deliver important stock-related documents (general meeting of shareholdersmaterials, shareholder communications, etc.*1) and shareholder benefits (*2) sent to shareholders.

In order to ensure the delivery of these items, shareholders whose address has changed due to relocation, etc., are requested to notify the change of address as follows when they submit a notification of relocation to the post office.

Record

1. Shareholders whose shares are recorded in the securities company's account

Please notify the securities company with which the shareholder has dealings.

2. Shareholders whose shares are recorded in the special account (*3)

*1 The shipping schedule for documents is as follows.

Shareholder communication... Scheduled to ship in late June and early December

*2 We send this letter once a year to shareholders who own 100 or more shares ofthe Companyshares recorded in thethe Companyshareholder register as of March 31 each year (around mid-July each year).
About the Shareholder Benefit System

*3"Special Accounts”is an account opened by the Company to protect the rights of shareholders who were not deposited with the Securities Depository and Transfer Corporation before the transition to electronic stock certificates.
(Please note that it is different from"Specific Accounts”, which is opened at securities companies, etc. for the purpose of reducing tax return procedures, etc.) )

Delivery address of shareholder benefits (please note)

・As a general rule, the delivery address of shareholder benefits will be the registered address as of March 31 of each year.

・If you notify the change of address after mid-March, there is a possibility that the delivery address of the shareholder benefit will be the registered address before the change. Shareholder benefits cannot be received only by forwarding to the post office. Even if you apologize for any inconvenience, please contact the Company contact point of our company separately from reporting to the securities company or Sumitomo Mitsui Trust and Banking Corporation.

・Every year, a large number of shareholder benefits are returned tothe Companyfor"Address unknown”or"Long absence”. the Company keep returned items until the end of the current fiscal year (the end of March of the year following the date of shipment) and resend them to shareholders who contactthe Companyat the following contact point within that period. If you only notify the securities company of the change of address, we will not resend the shareholder benefit product.

・In order to ensure that you receive shareholder benefits,

(1) In the case of a change of address after mid-March, contactthe Company contact (General Affairs Department, Equity Section)

(2) Notify the change of address and contact the Company(General Affairs Department, Equity Section) each time a change occurs between April and mid-July.

(3) If the shareholder benefits do not arrive after mid-July, please contact the Company contact point (General Affairs Department, Equity Section).
