In response to the decline in demand for newsprint paper and the soaring globalraw materials and fuelprices that began two years ago,the Company have been working to ensure a stable supply ofnewsprint paperwhile reorganizing our production system and working on various cost reduction measures. However, the currentraw materials and fuelis still at a level where it is extremely difficult to reproduce it through self-help efforts alone, and we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to revise the price in order to continue our business and stabilize supply in the future. |
