Strawless container School POP(R)Recruitmentarea further expanded from September

Since the development announcement in June 2020, School POP(R) has beenRecruitmentin Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefecture, Miyazaki Prefecture, Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo Prefecture, Gifu Prefecture, Tokushima Prefecture, Saga Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture and other areas.Recruitment As synonymous with strawless school milk containers, it has become unrivaled and rapidly spreading.

This time, it has been decided to introduce it in Gunma Prefecture (dairy manufacturer: Tomo Dairy), Toyama Prefecture (dairy manufacturer: Toyama Alpine Dairy), and Aichi Prefecture (dairy manufacturer: Chuo Milk), and the Recruitment School POP(R) will be expanded to 18 prefectures.



Approximately 1.4 billion bottles of school lunch milk inpaper cartonsare used annually in Japan. In addition to the 350 million units that have beenRecruitmentso far, the Recruit ment area is expected to supply more than 400 million School POP(R) bottles per year, covering 28% of the total. If one straw is calculated as 0.5g, it is calculated that 200 tons of single-use plastic can be reduced. *1
