Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,President and Representative Director: Toru Nozawa) and Kyuryudo Co., Ltd.(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,President and Representative Director: Kinya Adachi) will begin selling NIPPON PAPER GROUP 2024 corporate calendar through bookstores, museums, and e-commerce stores nationwide. The theme is"GLOBAL CHALLENGERS The Six Creators”, and it is a one-page calendar with two works for each of the six up-and-coming artists Kazuyuki Takishita, Jin Tsuchiya, Ryumitsu Imai, Ryusuke Fukahori, Yusuke Yabe, and Miu Komatsu who continue to challenge themselves on the world stage Recruitment. In addition, for the Recruitmentworks, the author's thoughts on the work are also posted on each page to make it easier for users to understand.

The planning and production of this calendar is a comprehensive tie-up between Nippon Paper Industries and Kuryudo, an art publishing company, and will be the publisher and will be available at bookstores, museums, and e-commerce sites nationwide from September 8th. The two companies will support the activities of artists who are making a leap from Japan to the world through the production and sales of calendars, promotions,Nippon Paper Industries special website*1, corporate Instagram*2, etc.

1~2 Kazuyuki Takishita (Painter)
Born in 1975 in Chuo Town, Kumamoto Prefecture (currently: Misato Town). In 2001, he completed the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts (Drawing and Decoration Design Major, Nakajima Chiba Laboratory). Since 2005, he has been focusing on painting and quickly gained popularity. In 2006, he made a guest appearance on TOKYO FM"STYLE CAFE”. In 2009, he published his first collection of paintings'Kazuyuki Takishita's collection of works Momotaro'(published by Kuryudo). Continuing the series of"Momotaro Figures”drawn from the perspective of demons, with the goal of drawing 1000 demons, the company published a collection of paintings'Kazuyuki Takishita's collection of works JAPON:ism'in 2011. In 2012,'Momotaro Figure Iroha Karuta'. In 2015, the art book'Kazuyuki Takishita's collection of works Momotaro Figure 2'and the picture book'Donburako。'. In 2017,'Momotaro Figure Iroha Karuta2'. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1977. In 2007, he completed the doctoral course in cultural property conservation at Tokyo University of the Arts. 2009, Solo exhibition at Nihonbashi Takashimaya Art Gallery X"New Era of Sculpture vol.3 Tsuchiya Nio Exhibition". In the same year, he held the exhibition "The Dream of a Dreamer"at MEGUMI OGITA GALLERY in Tokyo. In 2015, he exhibited"MEDITATION”at Jaski Gallery in Amsterdam, and in 2019, at the Yokosuka Museum of Art in Kanagawa, he exhibited at the special exhibition"Eyes”in the 4th period of the Reiwa era. May~June Ryuma Imai (Painter)
Born in Tokyo in 1976. In 1995, he studied at the Grand Chaumiere in Paris. From the end of his teens, he learned painting techniques and plastic consciousness while assisting in the studio of his father, painter Toshimitsu Imai. In 2008, he began to produce works in earnest. In 2009, he exhibited at Fukuda Gallery and D+5 ART GALLERY in Niigata (~2018), and in 2013, he exhibited at the Nakano Residence Museum of Art in Niigata. In 2010, he had a solo exhibition at Yamaki Art in Osaka. In 2013, he exhibited at Matsuzakaya Nagoya store"Contemporary art is now―7TYPES”, and held a solo exhibition at the same store the following year. In 2014, he published a collection of paintings'Imai Tatsumitsu's Works Those Who Live by Chance'(published by Kuryudo). In 2015, he exhibited at"Masayuki Tsubota × Tatsumitsu Imai Exhibition”as the opening exhibition of H-art Beat Gallery in Tokyo. In the same year, he held a solo exhibition at the Karuizawa New Art Museum in Nagano Prefecture. Since 2016, he has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at H-art Beat Gallery. In 2023, he held a large-scale solo exhibition at the Menard Museum of Art.
July~August Ryusuke Fukahori (Painter)

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1973. As a child, he grew up watching goldfish, a specialty of Yatomi City in the prefecture. In 1995, he graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design and Crafts. In 1999, he quit his previous job and started his production activities, but the following year, in 2000, when he was about to quit his job as an artist, he was fascinated for the first time by a goldfish that he had kept in his room for seven years. After that, he called this experience, which reminded him of the joy of drawing,"Goldfish Salvation”, and began to draw goldfish. In 2002, he developed a technique called"2.5D Painting”, a multi-layered painting that looks like a goldfish swimming in front of him when resin is poured into a vessel and painted, and his representative work, 《Goldfish wine》 , was born. In 2018,"Heisei Shinchiya”Hiratsuka City Museum of Art and other tours. In 2021,"Fishbowl, Earth Bowl。”Ueno Royal Museum of Art and others. Currently, he is actively active both domestically and internationally. In 2018, he published a collection of works'Ryusuke Fukahori's collection of works Heisei Shinchiya'(published by Kuryudo).
September~October Yusuke Yabe (Sculptor)

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1972. He traveled while doing various jobs, but eventually became attracted to art and began to learn. In 2002, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design, Tokyo Zokei University, majoring in sculpture. In 2005, he held"Yusuke Yabe Solo Exhibition”at the Kanagawa Prefectural Hall Gallery. In 2010, he held "YABESUKE SCULPTURE EXHIBITION" at K's Gallery in Tokyo"Yusuke Yabe Solo Exhibition: Each Family Feeling”, and in 2014,"YABESUKE SCULPTURE EXHIBITION”at Tennozu Central Tower. Since 2016, he has continued to present at t.gallery in Japan, and overseas with""Charles Dunn / Hirosuke Yabe”at Cindy Rucker Gallery in New York, New York, etc., he has been active in overseas exhibitions such as New York, London, Germany, and California. In 2022, he held"I want to dance with you”at MITSUKOSHI CONTEMPORARY GALLERY at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. In 2022, he published a collection of works'Hirosuke Sculptures'(published by Kyuryudo).
November~December Miwa Komatsu (Painter)

Born in 1984 in Sakaki Town, Hanshina District, Nagano Prefecture. Since childhood, he has a strong sensitivity to the invisible world and has a unique view of life and death based on coexistence with nature. Graduated from Joshibi University Junior College in 2004. He encounters copperplate prints and creates a unique painting style. Received the 2005 Joshibi University of Art and Design Outstanding Work Award. In 2014, he dedicated the painting 《New Fudoki》 to Izumo Taisha Shrine and exhibited it at the Shrine of Divine Protection. In 2015, at a gardening event sponsored by the Royal Horticultural Society,"Edo no niwa-Edo garden”, which exhibited Arita Yakikomainu 《Guardian Beast of Heaven and Earth》 as the guardian deity of the garden, won the Gold Medal Award. It was later collected by the British Museum and permanently exhibited at the Japan Pavilion. In 2015, he appeared on"Passion Continent”. In 2018, he was selected as an ambassador for Christian Dior. In 2022, the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art in Kawasaki City held"Miu Komatsu Exhibition: Challenging Taro Okamoto - Spirituality and Mandalas”. Currently, he has held many solo exhibitions and live paintings not only in Japan but also in Hong Kong and the United States. In 2022, he published a collection of works'Miu Komatsu Transparent Chaos―Spirituality and Mandalas―'(published by Kuryudo).
