Stickers and labels are one of the means to add information to things and are indispensable to our lives and corporate business activities. However, while the paper that protects the adhesive part of the label (releaserelease paper) is no longer needed after use, it is difficult to use as a papermaking raw material due to its structure, and many of them are not effectively used as resources. As we transition to a circular economy, we will promote the effective use of resources and contribute to reducingenvironmental burdenby promoting the effective use of inexpensive and convenient stickers and labels in a sustainable society.
◎J-ECOL's activities
We will work beyond the boundaries of companies to build a resource circulation model in which all companies involved in the value chain (procurement, manufacturing, sales, and collection) are united.
Specifically, we will mediate between companies that provide usedrelease paper(label users) and recycling companies to support resource recycling. For this purpose, we plan to hold a dissemination subcommittee and a technical subcommittee as a subcommittee activity, and the dissemination subcommittee will promote the recycling of release paper together with member companies, and the technical sub committee will consider release paper that is easy to recycle, propose the utilization of recycled pulp taken out of release paper, and in the future, convert used release paperback into release paper We will consider horizontal recycling to return to.
