NIPPON PAPER GROUP BASEBALL TEAM won 7-2 against The Shichijushichi Bank, Ltd. in the representative match of the 49th Japan Baseball Championship Tohoku Region Final Qualifier held at Sendai Civic Stadium on September 9, and decided to participate in the main tournament for the third time in seven years.

This tournament will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka from October 29th.
