Expanding the recycling of used mounts (release paper) for product labels

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd.

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Decoria Co., Ltd., began recycling used product label mounts (release paper) generated at Decoria's business sites in October. The Company of release paper at our company will be a follow-up to Nichiban Corporation's initiative.

Most release paperis discarded or heat-used because polyethylene laminated paper, which is difficult to recycle, may be used as the base paper, and it is undesirable for the adhesive remaining in the usedrelease paperto be mixed into the recycled raw materials.

Therefore, Decoria thoroughly sorts therelease paperafter it is used as a product label when shipping wallpaper and cloth, and jointly builds a unique collection and transportation scheme with Nippon Paper Industries which has the technology to separate and recycle polyethylene from polyethylene laminated paper.release paperIt has been made possible to recycle into recycled paper. This initiative allows therelease paperto be recycled ascontainerboards. By converting waste into resources, we will contribute to acirculation-oriented society, and Decoria and Nippon Paper Industries will continue to work to reduceenvironmental burdenand make effective use of resources to realize a sustainable society.
