Tree planting by Nipun Co., Ltd. was carried out on October 30, 2024 at the Company-owned Forests. This activity was carried out based on the agreement "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Forest Management Activities in the Nippon Water Source Area" signed between Nippon and the Company on August 1, 2024, as a new initiative in anticipation of increasing environmental awareness among employees and business partners after many years of business dealings with NIPPON PAPER GROUP.

plantation was carried out in theCompany-owned Forestsof the Suda Kai Mountain Forest (Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture), and 240Japanese larchseedlings were planted.

A study session was held with the aim of raising knowledge and raising awareness about the multifaceted functions of forests, the maintenance of water resources, and the importance of biodiversity conservation. NIPPON PAPER GROUP gives lectures onwater source retentionfunctions, CO2 absorption and carbon credits in forests, andplantation activities by companies.
