Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd. will exhibit for the first time at the 28th National Confectionery Expo Hokkaido Asahikawa Confectionery Expo 2025 SMILE SWEETS HOKKAIDO”which will be held from May 30th (Friday) to June 15th (Sunday).
The National Confectionery Exposition began in 1911 in Tokyo with"Imperial confectionery competition”, and has been held all over the country as a confectionery festival about once every four years. Since Mie"Ise-san Confectionery Expo”in 2017, the event has been postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, but in 2025, the 28th National Confectionery Expo and Hokkaido Asahikawa Confectionery Expo 2025 SMILE SWEETS HOKKAIDO will be held in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido.
We introduce cellulose nanofiber"cellenpia(R)”as a cellulose-based material. It is a cutting-edge biomass material created by loosening wood fibers to a fine level to the nano level. By adding it to food, it can give it the texture of"Fluffy, moist, and chewy”.
In addition, for two days on May 31st (Sat) and June 1st (Sunday), we plan to provide samples of the products scheduled to be sold at our booth under the Asahiyama Zoo collaboration project"Sui ZOO”.

The paper spoon used for tasting is"ICB Board”(high-rigidity paperboard using cellenpia-containing ® glue), and some packaging materials for the products sold by Sui ZOO are"Shield Plus(R)”(paper barrier packaging material) and"Methuselah Parts”(Asahikawa factory product/single-sided coat drying) will be used. We will also have a booth exhibition.
