the Company Paper high-performance barrier material “SHIELDPLUS®”, which we are developing applications, is operated by Bardon Co., Ltd. (head office : Moriya City, Ibaraki Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Yoshie Katsuta) in Ginza“Bardon Organic Café”.Recruitment Products using this packaging will be used for weight sales of nuts in stores starting this month.
■Recruitment
Bardon pursues the original deliciousness of ingredients, such as carefully selected organic nuts, handmade chocolates, and pesticide-free and additive-free dried fruits, and offers “Real deliciousness” and “Peace of mind” is provided to customers. For Bardon, which is deeply committed to the health of its customers and the global environment, maintaining the quality of its products is of utmost importance. In particular, organic nuts and dried fruits are sensitive to moisture, oxygen, and light, and packaging with high barrier performance was essential to avoid damaging flavor. Therefore,the Company“SHIELDPLUS®”, which has Paper performance despite being paper, was spotlighted as a material that can contribute to Bardon's Mission and problem solving.

It prevents oxygen and water vapor from entering, preserves the aroma of the contents with excellent fragrance retention, and maintains its freshness and flavor for a long time.

By using paper as the main raw material, we reduce the amount of plastic used and contribute to reducingenvironmental burden. It can also be accommodated with forestcertified papershowing that it is made from wood from properly managed forests.

In addition to the warm texture unique to Paper, it also has a heat-sealed seal and an easy-to-open property that can be easily opened by hand, combining design and ease of use.
“SHIELDPLUS®”is anenvironmentally friendlyfunctional material based onPaper. It proposes a new option for the conventional flexible packaging field, and we will continue to develop further applications.
