Started Sales of Aseptic Filling Paper Cartons“NS-FUJI” System in Korea.

Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd. (head office : Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,President and Representative Director: Akira Sebe, here in after referred to as“the Company”) is pleased to announce the release of “NS-FUJI”, a sterile filling paper cartons that can be stored for a long time at room temperature using brick-shaped paper cartons. Regarding the system, we have started selling the system in Korea.

The first filling machine for “NS－FUJI” in Korea has been installed at Busan Gyeongnam Milk Cooperative (President and Representative Director Kang Rae-So,head office : Busan, South Korea, here in after referred to as“Busan Milk”), and the product has been launched in the Korean market since February.

Currently, in the Korean market, the demand for beverage and food products that can be distributed at room temperature (aseptic) is expanding against the backdrop of changes in lifestyles and improved logistics efficiency. In anticipation of this market growth, the Company have been proposing the“NS-FUJI” which has a long track record in Japan. This time, the company's high quality maintenance capabilities, production efficiency, and support system for the entire system were evaluated, leading to the adoption of the company for the first time in Korea.

Under this scheme,the Company will manufacture packaging materials and sell them to Korea along with filling machines made by Shikoku Kakoki Co., Ltd. (head office : Itano-gun, Tokushima Prefecture,President and Representative Director: Shigeru Ueda). In Korea, our distributor, Union B&C (head office : Seoul, South Korea, Chairman of Board of Directors: Yang Dong-hoon” is responsible for the sales and maintenance of the Company packaging materials and filling machines.

With this first delivery as a stepping stone,the Company will contribute to the spread of“NS-FUJI” the Korean market and the further expansion of our products distributed at room temperature. We will continue to provide packaging solutions that contribute to the development of people's lives and culture in the Asia-Pacific region.
