1.Basic Stance to Information Disclosure
Disclosure of the status of the company's management and activities to a wide range of stakeholders is one of the important responsibilities of a company. NIPPON PAPER GROUP strives to constantly enhance the soundness and transparency of its management by disclosing corporate information in accordance with the Group's Charter of Conduct. As a guideline, in October 2005, we established“NIPPON PAPER GROUP Disclosure Policy(Disclosure Policy)”.
In accordance with this basic policy, we disclose information promptly on the basis of transparency, fairness, and continuity in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and other relevant laws and regulations, as well as the timely disclosure rules established by the Financial Instruments Exchange. In addition, even if it does not fall under various laws and regulations or timely disclosure rules, we disclose information that we judge to be of high social interest as quickly and accurately as possible.
