Request for Address Change Notification

Request for Address Change Notification

Due to relocation or other reasons, important shareholder documents (such as notices of convocation of general meetings of shareholders, dividend notices, and shareholder communications (*1)), as well as shareholder benefits (*2), may not be delivered successfully. To ensure the reliable delivery of these items, shareholders who have changed their address are requested to notify us of their new address as follows, even if they have already submitted a change of address notification to the post office.

1.For Shareholders Holding Shares in a Securities Account

Please notify the securities company where your shares are held.

2. For Shareholders Holding Shares in a Special Account (*3)

Please contact the following inquiry desk:

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Ltd.,

Stock Transfer Agency Department

Toll-free: 0120-782-031 (Business hours: Weekdays 9:00 - 17:00)

  1. Document Mailing Schedule:
Notice of Convocation of the General Meeting of Shareholders: Scheduled for early June
Dividend Notices and Shareholder Communications: Scheduled for late June and early December

  2. Shareholder benefits are sent once a year, around early July, to shareholders who own 100 or more shares recorded in the Company's shareholder register as of March 31 each year.

  3. A 'Special Account' is an account opened by the Company to protect the rights of shareholders whose share certificates were not deposited with Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc. (JASDEC) prior to the dematerialization of share certificates. (Please note that this differs from 'Specific Accounts' opened at securities firms for tax purposes.)

Important Note Regarding Shareholder Benefit Delivery Address

  • As a general rule, shareholder benefits are delivered to the registered address as of March 31 of each year.

  •  If you notify us of an address change after mid-March, your shareholder benefits may be sent to your previous registered address. Since shareholder benefits are delivered by courier, they cannot be forwarded by the post office. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact our designated contact point below separately from any notifications made to your securities firm or Sumitomo Mitsui Trust and Banking Corporation.
Please note that address change notifications for shareholder benefits are not carried over to the subsequent year. Therefore, if you wish to have your benefits delivered to an address different from your registered address as of March 31 of the current year, you must notify us of the desired delivery address each year.

  • Each year, a significant number of shareholder benefits are returned to the Company due to reasons such as 'address unknown' or 'long-term absence.' The Company will store returned items until the end of the current fiscal year (the end of March of the year following the shipping date) and will re-send them to shareholders who contact our designated contact point within that period. Please note that simply notifying your securities firm or Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank of an address change will not trigger a re-shipment of shareholder benefits.

  • To ensure the reliable receipt of your shareholder benefits, we kindly request your cooperation with the following:
    (1) Prompt notification of any address changes.
    (2) For address changes made after mid-March, please contact our General Affairs Department, Equity Section.
    (3) If shareholder benefits have not arrived by early July, please contact our General Affairs Department, Equity Section.
