Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd., together with Green Earth Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as"GEI”), and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO ) are recruiting"Revolution Promotion Project" in the" Biomanufacturing Revolution Promotion Project”. Development of a world-class low-carbon bioethanol production process using a purely domestic wood biorefinery”project was submitted as the implementation theme and was adopted on July 22, 2024*1. We would like to inform you that we have been granted and commissioned by NEDO.
The subsidy and commission projects to be implemented this time are part of the activities within the"Morisora Project(R)”"*2, and in this project, we will contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society and promote social implementation through the commercial production of bioethanol and biochemicals derived from domestic wood.
