Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshio Haga) announces the release in January 2010 of U-LITE L, a new A3 grade matt coated paper product.

The Company has developed U-LITE as a brand of A2 grade matt coated paper. U-LITE has been extensively used by customers over many years, appreciated for its stable quality and workability. In the Japanese paper industry, the product has established itself as one of the leading A2 matt coated paper products.

U-LITE L has been added to the product lineup in response to growing demands among customers for the quality of U-LITE in an A3 matt coated paper.
U-LITE L features clearer printing and more defined color reproduction compared to our conventional A3 matt coated paper products, while retaining the natural matt texture unique to U-LITE. It also features the superior U-LITE quality for diverse design renditions, including crisp black, vivid red, and indigo suitable for perspective effects. The product lineup includes sheet and roll, to respond to a wide range of customer demands.

U-LITE L is being produced at Iwakuni Mill of Nippon Paper Industries and Akita Mill of Nippon Daishowa Paperboard Co., Ltd.
