Nippon Tokai Industrial Paper Supply Co., Ltd. (President: Satoru Muto) will implement price revisions for linerboard and corrugated medium, specialty paper and kraft paper as detailed below.

1. Product subject to price revisions

All linerboard and corrugated medium
Specialty paper (chipboard and color board, base paper, plasterboard base paper, SIKRA base paper)
Kraft paper (double-coated kraft paper for heavy-duty bags, double-coated kraft paper for general use)
2. Markup 15% or more
3. Timing of implementation

Shipments from February 1, 2022
4. Reason for implementation

In response to steep rises in the cost of raw materials and fuels worldwide and rises in labor costs due to logistics and labor shortages, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd., Shin Tokai Paper Co., Ltd and Nippon Tokai Industrial Paper Supply Co., Ltd. have all been promoting extensive cost reductions. However, it is difficult for us to ensure stable, sustainable revenue through our efforts alone. Furthermore, in order for us to be able to continue to implement our plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as part of our global warming countermeasures, we have recently determined that we have no choice but to revise our prices.
