With steep rises in the cost of raw materials and fuel worldwide, and rises in labor costs due to logistics and labor shortages, we have been promoting extensive cost reductions across the company. However, at current price levels it is difficult for us to ensure sustainable revenue through our efforts alone. Furthermore, in order for us to be able to continue to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as part of our global warming countermeasures, we are revising our prices as detailed above. Going forward, we will continue to provide our customers with a stable supply of safe, high-quality products while further streamlining our operations.
