The Company revised product prices from 2022 to 2023 primarily against the backdrop of rising raw material and fuel prices and the impact of exchange rates and has gained the understanding of its business partners.

From 2024 onwards, however, logistics costs are expected to rise further, and the environment surrounding the Company will become even more challenging. Although the Company has been taking a number of measures to thoroughly reduce costs, it will proceed with the price revision as stated above, given that it is difficult at the current price level to secure reproducible earnings through self-help efforts alone.

We will ensure the stable supply and provide safe, high-quality products to our customers while continuing to strive for further rationalization.
