(CEO: Toru Nozawa; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has joined the International Sustainable Forestry Coalition (hereinafter "ISFC"), an organization established by forestry-related companies from around the world.

About ISFC

ISFC is an international organization founded in 2023, composed of 17 companies (as of April 2025, including Nippon Paper Industries) such as forest owners and forest investment businesses from around the globe. The forests managed by ISFC member companies span 37 countries across six continents, covering a total area of approximately 16 million hectares.

The organization aims to address global issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and deforestation by consolidating and communicating the views of the forestry sector, all based on sustainable forest management. Furthermore, ISFC contributes to the development of natural capital accounting standards to maximize the value of forests.
