Basic Stance

Nippon Paper Group stipulates “We will disclose corporate information actively and fairly, and engage in constructive dialogue with all our stakeholders” in NIPPON PAPER GROUP Standards of Business Conduct. In addition, Nippon Paper Industries has established “Policy for constructive dialogues with shareholders, etc.” in its Corporate Governance Policy. Based on these policies, we strive to ensure transparency and fairness in our corporate activities by engaging in dialogue with various stakeholders, including shareholders, through various opportunities.

Communication with Shareholders and Investors

Notice of convocation of the general meeting of shareholders is disclosed in Japanese and English. In addition to participating in the electronic voting platform, the Company is working to raise awareness of how to exercise voting rights using smartphones, and other devices, and is creating an environment for exercising voting rights, which is an important right for all shareholders.
In addition, we have opportunities for constructive dialogues with shareholders and investors, collect management analysis and opinions from the perspective of capital providers, and regularly report to management.
