Functional Materials Development Laboratory

We are working on the development of functional films based on “Roll-to-Roll film processing technology in a clean environment” utilizing paper machine technology and our proprietary “environmentally friendly coating design technology”. By imparting properties such as high hardness, ultraviolet absorption, antistatic properties, heat resistance, scratch resistance, and laminated film adhesion to the films, we aim to pioneer their development for diverse applications in fields such as displays, electronic components, and solar cells.

  We are working on the development of functional hard-coated films for liquid crystal displays and OLED displays installed in smartphones and tablet computers.

  In the electronics field, needs are becoming increasingly complex as technology evolves, and new materials and technologies are constantly required. In order to meet these demands for higher performance, the Company has developed "Films for electronic components" using its unique technology.
