Cattle Feed

Cattle Feed

Utilizing high-purity cellulose derived from wood, we have developed a new domestic feed “Genki Mori Mori TM”, which is an energy source for cattle. With stable quality and supply, it supports the improvement of cow productivity (carcass weight, milk performance, breeding performance, etc.) and the maintenance of health, and contributes to environmental conservation and the improvement of food self-sufficiency.

What is Genki Mori Mori™?

Fiber, the main component of grass, is a main nutrient source for cattle. By extracting fiber (high-purity cellulose) from trees, we have developed cattle feed (A feed), which is a more effective energy source for cattle.

  • Genki Morimori™ is manufactured by applying paper technology to domestic timber as raw materials.

Features

  • It is a high-energy feed with a dry matter TDN of 95.6%.

  • It has the property of being slowly digested and absorbed, which stabilizes the rumen environment and promotes the health of cattle.

  • It can be used on beef cattle, dairy cows, and breeding cows, and is expected to have effects such as "increasing carcass weight", "improving milk performance", and "improving breeding performance".

History of development

Since 2015, we have conducted a demonstration test on the effectiveness of Genki MorimoriTM in collaboration with the National Agricultural Research Organization and others.

<Information on the results of the National Agricultural Research Organization>
(1) Suppression of the decrease in rumen pH

(2) Improvement of the growth of grazing calves
In 2019, with the cooperation of livestock and dairy farming sites, we began field tests at ranches.

In 2021, we established a permanent manufacturing facility at the Iwanuma mill (Miyagi Prefecture) and established a supply system. As of March 2026, we are conducting feeding trials at more than 150 farms and TMR centers, and the number of adoption cases is increasing.

Genki Morimori® is listed as "wood kraft pulp" in the official standard for feed.

Please refer to the official feed standard here.
