We are pleased to inform you that, as of October 1, 2003, we re-organized the business structure in North America as follows in order to pursue further business efficiency.

 

Seattle Office, established in 1974, had played an important role as our strategic point with your cooperation, but finished its history and we transferred its function to Longview office and Atlanta Branch.

 

In addition, Daishowa America Co., Ltd. assumed Nippon Paper Industries USA Co., Ltd. and become one of major players in the North America's strategy of Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd.

 

Since we opened our Seattle Office, we have expanded both our production facilities and resident offices in North America through the birth of Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. in 1993, and the merger with Daishowa Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 2003. Moreover, we positively promote our business function through this new organization.
