Chlorinated Polyolefin
Polypropylene (PP) is a resin which is widely used for film, molded products and for other useful products. Due to its low polarity and high crystallinity, it is difficult to adhere.
SUPERCHLON® is manufactured by Nippon Paper's Chemical Division and is the best adhesive to PP, thermoplastic olefin elastomer (TPO) and for other low surface energy substrates containing olefinic material.
SUPERCHLON® is a high-performance adhesion promoter for paints, coatings, inks and adhesives. Its applications include automotive parts such as bumpers, interior parts, films, adhesives and printing inks. Substantial R&D investment has provided a continuous stream of new products to meet the ever challenging need for the coating, ink and adhesive industries.
SUPERCHLON® with various softening points, chlorine content and molecular weight can be selected depending on the use, purpose and conditions.
Available in waterborne, solventborne and pellets (or solids).
